A farmhouse in Ghaziabad for a party is often the easiest choice when your guests live in Ghaziabad, East Delhi, Noida Extension or Noida. The city's edges along NH-24, the Delhi–Meerut Expressway and Raj Nagar Extension have plenty of lawns and farm-style venues, per-plate packages usually start lower than in South Delhi, and the Namo Bharat rapid rail now makes the Meerut Road side easy to reach. But Uttar Pradesh's liquor rules apply, many venues sit right next to housing societies, and not every "farmhouse" is a private farm. This guide covers where to look, what it may cost, the rules to plan around and what to check before you pay.
Quick answer
To book a farmhouse in Ghaziabad for a party, pick the area nearest your guests, budget roughly ₹15,000–₹45,000 for a small private farm (15–40 guests) or about ₹750–₹2,300 per plate at a lawn venue (estimates), and get timings, guest limits and deposit terms in writing. Serving liquor needs a UP bar licence; end outdoor music by 10 PM.

Why Book a Farmhouse in Ghaziabad for a Party?
Ghaziabad works best for medium to large guest lists from the eastern and north-eastern side of NCR. Its main advantages:
- Close to where guests live. Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Vaishali, Raj Nagar Extension and Crossings Republik are large residential areas, so for many families a Ghaziabad venue is 15–30 minutes away instead of a cross-Delhi drive to Chattarpur or Gurgaon.
- Choice of venues. VenueLook's Ghaziabad birthday-party farmhouse listings span close to 30 localities, from Vasundhara and NH-24 to Loni, Lal Kuan and Muradnagar, with venues holding anywhere from about 20 to 1,000 guests.
- Lower starting prices for big events. The same site lists popular Ghaziabad venues from about ₹750 per plate for vegetarian menus, and farm lawns on WeddingWire's Raj Nagar page show starting prices from about ₹850–₹1,300.
- Better transit than before. The full 82 km Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat corridor from Sarai Kale Khan to Modipuram opened on 22 February 2026, with stops at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Muradnagar, so guests without cars can reach the Meerut Road side quickly.
The trade-offs: fewer secluded private farms than Chattarpur or Sohna Road, venues close to residential towers (which makes music rules stricter in practice), and heavy evening traffic on NH-24 and around the Hindon bridges. From late November, Saturdays at large lawns also compete with wedding bookings, so book 4–8 weeks ahead for a winter weekend.
Which Part of Ghaziabad Is Best for a Farmhouse Party?
The best area is the one closest to most guests with an easy, well-lit approach road. Listing sites tag Ghaziabad farmhouses by dozens of localities and some names repeat elsewhere in NCR (there is a Mehrauli in Ghaziabad as well as in Delhi), so always ask for the exact address and a map pin. The main areas:
| Area | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Trans-Hindon: Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Vaishali, Sahibabad, Kaushambi | East Delhi and Noida guests; evening birthdays and anniversary dinners close to home | Mostly banquets and smaller lawns; true private farms are few, and nearby societies mean strict music cut-offs |
| NH-24 and Delhi–Meerut Expressway side: Vijay Nagar, Crossings Republik, Lal Kuan, Chipiyana and towards Dasna | Large lawns for 200–500 guests with highway access from Delhi and Noida | Service-road U-turns and evening jams; confirm the exact exit and parking inside the gate |
| Raj Nagar Extension, Raj Nagar and the Meerut Road side | City guests from central Ghaziabad; many party lawns and farm-style venues | Venues sit near new high-rises and the Hindon; check land status and noise rules |
| Loni and the North-East Delhi border | Budget lawns for guests from North-East Delhi | Congested approach roads; drive the route at night before booking |
| Muradnagar and Modinagar side (towards Meerut) | Bigger, quieter farms for overnight stays and day picnics | Longer drive from Delhi, fewer vendors nearby; plan transport and power backup |
A general guide to the areas, not a list of specific properties. Drive the approach road once in the evening before you book.
Is the venue on legal land, away from the Hindon floodplain?
Ask this before you pay, especially for venues near the Hindon river. On 30 July 2026 the Ghaziabad Development Authority demolished an illegal colony of about 20,000 square metres, including boundary walls and unauthorised buildings, on the Hindon floodplain in the Pratap Vihar and Siddharth Vihar area, as Amar Ujala reported. That drive was not about party farmhouses, but it shows the authority acts on floodplain land. Ask the owner whether the property has any GDA notice or court case, and get a written refund clause in case the venue cannot host you on the day.

How Much Does a Farmhouse in Ghaziabad Cost for a Party?
As a rough estimate, a small private farm for 15–40 guests costs about ₹15,000–₹45,000 for a day slot or a night, while lawn venues for 100–500 guests usually charge roughly ₹750–₹2,300 per plate. Ghaziabad venues price in two ways:
- Per plate. Most large lawns and farmhouse banquets quote per guest with food included. VenueLook lists popular Ghaziabad venues at about ₹750–₹1,800 per plate for vegetarian and ₹999–₹2,300 for non-vegetarian menus, and its guide puts the wider range at roughly ₹550–₹2,500.
- Flat rent. Private farms and some lawns charge for the slot. On the same listings, half-day rent starts around ₹10,000 and can pass ₹1 lakh, and a couple of large Vasundhara venues quote about ₹2.5 lakh for a half day to ₹3.5 lakh for a full day. Flat-rent farms usually let you bring a caterer.
| Cost item | Typical range (estimate) |
|---|---|
| Small private farm, day slot or one night (15–40 guests) | ₹15,000–₹45,000 for the venue |
| Lawn or farmhouse venue for 100–500 guests, per-plate package | Roughly ₹750–₹2,300 per guest, including food |
| Lawn rent where food is separate | From about ₹10,000 for a half day to over ₹1 lakh; large lawns can quote ₹2.5–₹3.5 lakh a day |
| Overnight / 24-hour stay with rooms | Often 1.5–2× the day-slot rate |
| DJ with sound | ₹10,000–₹40,000 depending on lights and dance floor |
| UP occasional bar licence (if serving liquor) | Reported at ₹4,000 (private) or ₹11,000 (larger venue) in Noida; confirm for Ghaziabad |
| Décor | ₹15,000–₹1,50,000 depending on scale |
| Security deposit | Commonly ₹10,000–₹50,000, refundable after inspection |
Estimates only, based on listing prices seen in October 2026. Saturdays from late November to mid-December, Christmas week and New Year's Eve are usually priced higher.
What budget works for 50, 100 or 200 guests?
A simple way to estimate the total, using the ranges above:
- 50 guests: a flat-rent private farm plus outside catering often works out cheapest, very roughly ₹60,000–₹1.2 lakh all-in for food, venue and a DJ (estimate).
- 100 guests: compare a flat-rent farm with catering against a per-plate lawn; at ₹900–₹1,500 a plate, food and venue together come to roughly ₹90,000–₹1.5 lakh before décor and music (estimate).
- 200 guests: a per-plate lawn on NH-24 or Raj Nagar Extension is usually simplest, roughly ₹1.8–₹3.5 lakh for food and venue before décor and music (estimate).
What usually pushes the quote up:
- Minimum plate guarantees. Big lawns often insist on a minimum number of plates; for 60 guests, a small farm may be cheaper.
- Slot length. Overnight costs more than a day slot. Our day-use vs overnight farmhouse guide explains which to choose.
- Generator and power. Farms on the city's edges may charge separately for backup power, which must also meet winter pollution rules.
- Outside vendors. Some venues charge an entry fee for an outside caterer, decorator or DJ, or allow only their own.

What Rules Apply to a Farmhouse Party in Ghaziabad?
Ghaziabad is a district of Uttar Pradesh, so UP excise rules apply, not Delhi's P-10 licence, even though the city borders East Delhi. Plan around four rules.
Liquor: the occasional bar licence
Serving alcohol at a party in Uttar Pradesh, even a private one, needs a one-day occasional bar licence if the venue has no bar licence of its own. In a PTI report carried by DNA India in December 2023, the neighbouring Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) excise office put the fee at ₹4,000 for small private gatherings and ₹11,000 for larger events at banquets, restaurants or community halls, each valid for one day and applied for online on the UP excise portal. Ask the Ghaziabad farm which category applies to it, confirm the current fee on the portal for Ghaziabad district, and buy liquor from a licensed UP shop with bills.
Music: outdoors ends at 10 PM
India's Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 do not allow loudspeakers or public address systems in the open between 10 PM and 6 AM, except in closed premises. Many Ghaziabad lawns are within earshot of high-rise societies, so a late DJ is the most common reason a party gets a police visit. Plan the loud part before 10 PM; our DJ or live band guide has a timing plan that fits.
Pollution: GRAP and fires
Ghaziabad is part of the NCR, so the Graded Response Action Plan applies from October to February and can restrict diesel generators, coal or wood tandoors and open fires as air quality worsens. Our GRAP rules guide for weddings and parties explains what each stage means for an event. Skip fireworks and ask whether the venue's backup power is compliant.
Property rules
Guest limits, timings, pool hours, outside vendors, décor, cleaning charges and the deposit all vary by farm. Use the question list in our guide to farmhouse rules to check before booking.
Ghaziabad vs Noida, Greater Noida or Chattarpur: Which Is Better?
Ghaziabad is better when most guests live in Ghaziabad or East Delhi and you need a big lawn at a fair per-plate rate; Noida is better for private pool farms, and Chattarpur for a South or West Delhi guest list.
| Area | Easiest for | Liquor rule | Typical strength |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ghaziabad | Guests in Ghaziabad, East Delhi and Noida Extension | Uttar Pradesh: occasional bar licence | Big lawns, lower per-plate starts, metro and rapid-rail access |
| Noida (Sector 135 belt) | Guests in Noida and South-East Delhi | Uttar Pradesh: occasional bar licence | Private pool farms near the expressway |
| Greater Noida | Guests in Greater Noida and Noida Extension | Uttar Pradesh: occasional bar licence | Very large lawns, airport access at Jewar |
| Chattarpur | Guests in South, Central and West Delhi | Delhi: P-10 licence | Huge choice of private farms |
For bigger lawns further south-east, see our guide to a farmhouse in Greater Noida for a party, and for the Delhi option, a farmhouse in Chattarpur for a party.
Which Parties Suit a Ghaziabad Farmhouse Best?
- Big family functions: milestone birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and godh bharai for 100–400 guests on a lawn with a per-plate package.
- Pre-wedding functions: haldi, mehendi or sangeet for families in Ghaziabad and East Delhi, with relatives from Meerut arriving by Namo Bharat.
- Society and kitty get-togethers: a weekday lunch slot close to Indirapuram, Vaishali or Raj Nagar Extension.
- Overnight friends' parties: a private farm for 15–30 people on the quieter Muradnagar side.
- Corporate day outings: for teams based in Ghaziabad, Noida or East Delhi.
How to Book a Ghaziabad Farmhouse Without Surprises
- Fix the guest count and slot first. Day, evening or overnight, and whether you need rooms.
- Ask what kind of venue it is. Private farm, banquet-style lawn or hotel lawn, and whether another event runs the same day.
- Compare total cost, not headline rates. Include minimum plates, extra-guest charges, generator fees and vendor entry fees.
- Visit or get a live video walk-through. Check the lawn, washrooms, kitchen, rooms, pool, lighting and parking.
- Check road, neighbours and land status. Drive the approach at night, note how close the nearest housing society is, and ask about any GDA notice or court case.
- Pay a small advance, traceably. Use bank transfer or UPI to a named account and keep the receipt. Our guide on how to book a farmhouse safely covers scam red flags.
